Orthodontics

Orthodontics is a field of dentistry that deals with the diagnosis and treatment of irregularities in the alignment of teeth and developmental disorders of the jaws. Misaligned teeth, jaw developmental issues, jaw constrictions, and the presence of extra or missing teeth in the mouth are all areas of interest in orthodontics. Various orthodontic devices are used in treatments to provide patients with a healthy and functional chewing system. Crooked teeth can lead to chewing dysfunctions, which may result in abnormal wear on teeth, excessive pressure on the supporting bone tissue around teeth, and joint problems.
